3-Day Mixed Media & Photography
at Mission San Juan Capistrano

Thursday, August 23-Saturday August 25 | 10am-4pm | $375
Taught by Lisa Agaran

Location: San Clemente Art Supply

In this 3-Day workshop you will have the opportunity to integrate your own photography combined with the mixed media process, making your artwork 100% an original creation. With our digital cameras we will visit the historical landmark of the Mission San Juan Capistrano capturing dramatic imagery to incorporate into our art pieces. We will then go back to the wonderful & quaint workshop studio of San Clemente Art Supply where we will spend the remaining time working on our mixed media pieces.  During the weekend you will be working on two pieces (12 x 12 in. wood panels). I will show you step-by-step how to combine collage, your own photography, acrylic painting, layering, texturizing, adhering found objects and more. Some acrylic painting or mixed media experience is helpful, but not required. Join me in this unique & creative workshop. You’ll be surprised at what you can create.

Requirement: You will need to bring a digital camera that takes high quality photos with a removable SD card (necessary for making printouts). Instructor will be emailing more information prior to the workshop date.

Materials: A materials list will be provided upon registration.

Mission San Juan Capistrano – Students will be responsible for purchasing their own admission ticket ($10), which can be purchased online or at the entrance.
