NEW! 5-Week Zoom Class Begins Sept. 2 | $75
Wednesdays, 1:00-2:30 pm (PDT)
4:00-5:30 pm Eastern
LIVE on Zoom (requires a computer, tablet or smart phone with a camera enabled).

Having a solid understanding of color mixing and composition is essential when it comes to creating artwork that feels balanced and cohesive. These basic principles are important elements to integrate whether it be abstract art, collage or mixed media. In this class we dive deeper into color mixing as we take a closer look at the variations in reds, yellow, greens and blues. We also cover earth tones as well as learn how to create different shades of gray from warm to cool. You will learn how to create your own color combinations that work together and create a sense of harmony in your artwork. We will then apply these different color scales and combinations along with collage material towards understanding a variety of composition designs. In this class you will gain the confidence to create artwork that feels more grounded and visually appealing. It is recommended that you have had some basic color mixing (ie. color wheel, tints, shades, etc.) experience or have taking my Color Mixing Essentials course. Adult ages 18+

If you are unable to make any of the classes, no worries, I will be recording each session so they will be available for later viewing.

Non-Zoomer Option
Do you feel overwhelmed by the thought of using Zoom? Don’t have a computer with video & audio? Or you just would prefer not to attend an online class live?
No worries. I realize that the whole tech stuff can be a huge learning curve for many and can be overwhelming. It’s more important to me that this class is available to everyone on different levels, so you have the following Non-Zoomer Options to take this class.

Audio Only: You can attend the class LIVE without having to be on video, but you have the ability to ask me questions through audio only. You also have access to send me instant messages in Zoom.

Watch Only: You can attend the class LIVE without video & audio, but still have the ability to view the class through watch only. You also have access to send me instant messages in Zoom if you have any questions.

Email Recordings: You don’t need to attend any of the Zoom classes LIVE, but instead you have the option to take the class by watching the recordings that will be emailed to you after each weekly class has ended. You will receive all the same PDFs of weekly lessons and instructions. You will also be able to email me with any questions about the project and techniques. With this option, since you also receive the Zoom Classroom link weekly,  you will have the freedom to join the classes LIVE if you ever change your mind. Recordings will be available for viewing for the duration of the class only.
