Creative Spirit Mentoring

Reconnect to your creativity and return to the true essence of who you were meant to be

Sometimes we lose touch with our true selves.

Life becomes busy. We find ourselves meeting expectations, navigating change, and moving through our days on autopilot.

Perhaps we’ve even set our own creativity to the side out of necessity.

Yet something deep down is yearning and whispering…

“Remember who you are, come home to your true self and return to your creative spirit.”

Yet sometimes that path back is not an easy and clear journey.

That is when Creative Spirit Mentoring becomes your guide.

What is Creative Spirit Mentoring?

Many people refer to this work as creativity coaching.

I prefer the term mentoring. Coaching often focuses on goals, performance, and outcomes.

Creative Spirit Mentoring focuses on relationship

Relationship with your true self.

Relationship with creativity.

And the relationship with Creative Spirit.
A deeper wisdom that becomes available when you make space to listen.

Sometimes we simply need support remembering how to listen again.

Creative Spirit Mentoring offers a private space to slow down, explore, and reconnect with the part of yourself that knows who you are and what matters most.

Through intuitive conversation, gentle creative practices, and spiritual insight, you’ll learn to listen more deeply to your inner voice and create from a space of alignment and presence.

Creativity is More Than Self-Expression

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that creativity isn’t simply about making art or doing something creative.

It’s a way of staying connected and returning to our true selves.

When we honor our creativity, we create space to hear our inner wisdom, navigate life’s transitions from our authentic and higher self.

Whether through writing, painting, art journaling, collage, music, movement, or another creative practice, creativity can become a trusted companion on your journey.

Creativity is not only something you do; it’s remembering who you are and becoming.

Over my years as a psychotherapist, creativity coach, and artist, I’ve come to know that living a creative life involves three essential components:

    1. Living creatively – approaching life with curiosity, inspiration, and openness.
    2. Creating through process – engaging in a creative practice for personal transformation and wellbeing.
    3. Connecting to Creative Spirit – that sacred energy that flows through us when we create from our soul.

When these three align, creativity becomes your anchor.
A source of calm, clarity, and connection to something greater.

What to Expect

Each session unfolds intuitively, meeting you exactly where you are. Together we may explore the following:

        • Soulful conversation and intuitive listening
        • Explore what’s currently getting in the way of your creative flow
        • Discovering ways to deepen your relationship with the creative process or creative spirit
        • Transforming self-doubt and fear into creative trust
        • Uncover any past creative injury that might be blocking your creative flow
        • Reframing perfectionism, self-criticism and judgment into self-compassion
        • An openness to explore symbolic reflection to access spiritual insight
        • Practices for integrating creativity into your wellness routine

My role isn’t to tell you what to do.
My role is to help you listen more deeply to your higher self
and the wisdom already trying to emerge.

Meet Your Creative Spirit Mentor

Hi, I’m Lisa Agaran — Artist, instructor, and Creative Spirit Mentor.

For over two decades, I’ve helped others rediscover their creative essence through a unique blend of psychology, art, and spiritual insight.
As a former psychotherapist and creativity coach, I understand how vulnerable and powerful the creative process can be—and how healing it becomes when guided by the soul.

I’ve walked through creative disconnection myself, and I know the ache of feeling distant from that sacred connection to my creative spirit. What I’ve learned is that creativity is always waiting for our return. It never leaves us. When we open to it with trust, it becomes our most reliable companion on the journey home to ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an artist to benefit from Creative Spirit Mentoring?
Not at all. This work is about the creative process and reclaiming your creative spirit, not artistic skill or technique. It’s focused on helping you reconnect with creative intuition and experience how that can affect other areas of your life. Very little art experience is needed.

What if I haven’t created anything in years?
That’s perfectly okay. It’s common to lose touch with our creative spirit, our true self at some point in our life. Mentoring is designed to gently guide you back to your creative flow at a pace that feels natural and safe. You’ll rediscover your creative spirit and inspiration without pressure or expectation.

How spiritual is this process?
Because of my background as an intuitive artist, psychotherapist, and spiritual seeker, I offer an approach that is both grounded and expansive. The mentoring journey can be as spiritual as you’re comfortable with. Each session is rooted in intuition, self-awareness, and creative flow, with the option to weave in spiritual insight, symbolism, or metaphysical perspectives. I often refer to Creative Spirit as you—the creative spirit within—or as a higher power or source of inspiration. You’re always invited to interpret and integrate these ideas in the way that feels most authentic to you.

What kinds of creative activities might we do?
You are free to focus on any creative activity of your choice that is comfortable for you. I am here to support whatever medium you feel inspired to explore, whether that be writing, painting, art journaling, collaging, abstract watercolor, simple intuitive mark-making, or doodling. Any art practices that bypass the mind and reconnect you to creative spirit and your true essence.

How do I know if this is right for me?
If you feel a quiet pull as you read these words, that’s your Creative Spirit nudging you. Simply fill out the email form on this page, share with me what you’re struggling with and what you hope to benefit from working with me. I will review it and respond within 24 hrs. or less.

Can I combine this with your online courses or other offerings?
Absolutely. Many clients find that mentoring deepens the impact of my courses, offering one-on-one personal support and intuitive guidance as they move through their creative journey.

You don’t have to navigate this journey alone
