- Opaque Watercolor Pan Set (Pelikan Watercolor Pan Set | Lyra | Richeson) OR regular watercolor tubes with high color saturation will work
- Spray bottle for water (fine misty if possible)

- Brush Pen (Black) Pentel Pocket Brush Pen OR equivalent (Optional)
- Painters tape (for taping down watercolor paper)
- 2-3 boards to tape down watercolor paper (9 x 12 in.) so you can work on multiple pieces while one is drying. You can use inexpensive 12 x 16 in. canvas boards OR equivalent
- Matte Medium (Mod Podge or Decoupage)
- Hair Dryer
- 90% Rubbing Alcohol
- Table salt
- Saran Wrap or Plastic wrap

This is not your typical watercolor class. No flowers. No seascapes. Instead, in this class we stay abstract and organic. We apply watercolor in ways that create abstract forms, unpredictable blends and fractal like bleeds. We then allow our watercolor to “mingle” with other elements such as salt, alcohol and plastic wrap. To add even more depth to your abstract watercolor, we will be incorporating mark making and any collage papers of your choice (ie. Gelli prints, Nat Geo Citrasolv pages, mulberry & handmade papers). In this easy to follow class, you will create multiple pieces that you will be able to continue working on even after the class is over. Join me as we uncover what beautiful and creative abstracts can be created when we just allow ourselves to play and discover the unexpected. Adults 18+
Non-Zoomer option: If you are unable to make the live Zoom workshop or prefer not to appear on Zoom, not a problem. Instead you can do the workshop through the recording, which is emailed to all attendees at the end of the day. This recording will be available to re-watch up to 4 weeks after the workshop has ended.

This class is not confirmed unless a minimum of 5 live attendees sign-up. A full refund is provided for cancellations made up to 5 days prior to the class beginning. If cancellation is received after 5 days prior to the starting date, no refunds will be issued but credit can be applied to a future class. Sorry no refunds once the class has begun. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/class if required. Should this happen, you would have the choice of a refund or transferred to a future workshop/class of your choice.
