Terms & Conditions and Waiver
By registering for this retreat you agree to all the Terms & Conditions and you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions that govern the relationship, the cancellations policy and limitations of liability. Please read carefully before completing your registration.
Pricing
Retreat prices shown are per person and are quoted and payable in USD. Pricing covers the retreat only, and does not cover any travel expenses, such as airfare, gas, car rental, train or any other forms of transportation. Price also does not include travel insurance. Price does not include accommodations (Attendees are responsible for arranging, reserving and paying for their own accommodations).
Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within is not responsible for any fees incurred due to currency exchange or fees charged by your credit card/bank for processing funds in another currency.
Payment
Full payment (pertaining to both Early Bird and Regular Registration pricing) is required to hold your spot. We accept payment through PayPal, which accepts most credit cards. You do not need a PayPal account to use your credit card.
We DO NOT keep your credit card on file.
NOTE: A $100 fee is retained for any cancellation – Read Refund/Cancellation Policy below.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that unexpected events can arise that can affect your plans.
Cancellations must be made by May 16, 2024 11:59 pm. There will be a $100 cancellation fee retrained, with the remaining amount of the registration fee refunded. Sorry no refunds after May 16, 2024. If you have to cancel after May 16, 2024 we will allow your spot to be transferred to a friend, family member, someone you know or can provide as an attendee replacement. Sorry we do not find or provide attendee replacements for cancellations.
In the case of unforeseen occurrences, including acts of GOD, pandemics, epidemics, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance, terrorism or war, we reserve the right to cancel this event in which case attendees will receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to cancel the retreat for any reason, but will not cancel less than 30 days prior to the retreat date except for unusual or unforeseen circumstance outside of our control. We also reserve the right to cancel if the minimum number of students is not attained.
To assure that cancellations are properly accepted as an official cancellation, all cancellations must be made directly to Lisa Agaran BOTH by phone (626) 470-7278 AND Email to truecreativitywithin@gmail.com
Cancellations will not be considered complete until you receive an email conformation from us. If you do not receive an email conformation your requested cancellation will not be considered completed.
Risks, Bodily Harm & Loss
You assume all responsibility for yourself, and all risk of damage or injury that may occur to you as an attendee at the Awaken the Invisible Power of Your Creativity Retreat, while attending the retreat, workshop, and all other retreat related activities.
Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for bodily injury or property damage for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to the following causes: acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, detention, annoyance, weather, quarantines, emergency declarations, strikes, civil disturbance, theft, negligence including negligence of Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within or any of their affiliates, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers, changes in movement regulations, terrorism or war.
Travel Insurance is recommended especially if you are traveling from a distance and acquiring significant expenses in order to attend the retreat. It is strongly recommended the coverage be extended to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring during travel.
Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within shall have no liability for loss, theft of or damage to baggage or personal effects. Personal belongings lost or stolen during travel as well as during the retreat. Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within cannot accept responsibility for and in no event shall be liable for loss or damage of valuables or other articles left in or on facilities used by Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within such as classroom rentals, hotels, restaurants, venues, vehicles, or any other mode of transportation.
COVID-19
Accordingly to CDC & San Luis Obispo County guidelines, we will not require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test. Masks are not required, but your are free to wear one during the retreat. Masks will not be provided, therefore you are responsible for supplying your own mask.
You acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present and during the retreat you will be in an enclosed space with others. You understand that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. By attending this retreat, You voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold liable, Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within or any of their affiliates, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers, for any illness.
Covid Test Positive
If you have tested positive for Covid-19, within 14 days of the retreat, unfortunately, you will not be allowed to attend, to avoid exposure to other retreat attendees. In this case, you will receive a full refund upon proof of a valid verifiable positive Covid-19 Test from a physician’s office or official testing site/facility.
Medical Conditions & Special Requirements
If you have any medical conditions, are pregnant, have a disability, mobility difficulty, or any other mental and/or physical condition please carefully consider if this retreat is suitable for your specific conditions & requirements. You assume all responsibility for yourself and are fully aware of all the physical requirements of the retreat.
Please be aware that the retreat facility is on a rental bases. Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within is not responsible for facility’s ADA compliance.
Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within is unable to accommodate all dietary requirements and will do their best to provide vegetarian options. We are not responsible or liable for ingredients that may cause severe allergic reactions such as dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, shellfish, fish, soy or wheat used by food vendors/caters.
You give your consent for Lisa Agaran, employees, agents, staff, faculty, and volunteers to assist you in the event of an emergency, including seeking emergency medical treatment on your behalf and you agree to accept financial responsibility for the costs related to any medical treatment.
Content, Views & Opinions Present
You understand that any content, ideas, views, suggestions or opinions presented by Lisa Agaran or Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within during retreats, classes, online courses, virtual workshops, videos, webinars, posts, social media, emails, on our website or any other communication is not a substitute for psychological advice, professional mental health or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health conditions.
You understand that although Lisa Agaran is a licensed therapist, her license is currently inactive and, therefore, can not operate as a licensed therapist, nor offer any professional psychological or mental health advice or treatment.
You understand that you are ultimately responsible for your own well-being, spiritual & life choices and decisions.
Code of Conduct
You agree to conduct yourself and behave in a legal, ethical, respectful and polite manner, treating all individuals with respect, consideration, kindness and tolerance, at all times during the entire retreat weekend.
You agree to refrain from any behavior that is threatening, violent, aggressive, harassing, or which might be considered sexual harassment.
You agree to report to Lisa Agaran, employees, agents, staff, faculty, and volunteers any behavior by others that you witness or experience that does not meet these standards.
You understand that if you engage in inappropriate behavior, cause any harm or nuisance to any person or fail to report inappropriate behavior that you witness, you may be asked to leave the retreat and we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other financial obligations.
Art by Lisa Agaran/True Creativity Within reserves the right to refuse registration of any attendee who we feel has not operated under the Code of Conduct in any past workshops and retreats. We also reserve the right to refuse registration of any attendee for any reason, as we see fit.
