Lesson 1
Finding Calm in Stillness
Anxiety, uncertainty, and confusion can overwhelm the nervous system, leaving us feeling scattered and out of control. But when we pause and create stillness, we give ourselves space to step back from the noise — whether it’s the situation, our thoughts, or the world around us. This spaciousness is essential for nourishing the mind, body, and spirit. It helps us reset, process, and return to a calmer, more centered state. From this place, we can respond to life with clarity and authenticity. In this session, you’ll explore how a simple art practice can offer you that stillness.

Lesson 2
Befriending Your Emotions with Grace
Emotions can catch us off guard. When they feel intense or uncomfortable, it’s natural to want to avoid them — but they’re a vital part of being human. Emotions are signals, guiding us to pay attention to what matters. By learning to recognize and accept them without judgment, we can move through them with greater ease. When we ride the waves instead of resisting them, we open ourselves to the insight they carry. In this session, you’ll explore how to creatively express your emotions through a simple art practice.
Art Practice: “Art Your Emotions” through the use of an Emotions Color Chart, painting & collage.
Lesson 3
Creativity, A Journey Through Loss
Grief is often linked to the loss of a loved one, but it can also arise during major life transitions, the end of relationships, or times of deep uncertainty. Our instinct is often to distract ourselves from the pain, yet grief is a natural part of healing. When we allow ourselves to move through it, we begin to integrate the past with the present and open to what’s ahead. In this session, you’ll discover how creativity can be a steady source of support — offering comfort, grounding, and space to heal.
Art Practice: Asemic Writing – a mindfulness practice
Lesson 4
Letting Go & Redefining a Hopeful Future
During times of change and uncertainty, we often cling to the past — to what could have been, or to resentment over what isn’t. It can feel like a way to stay in control, but it often leaves us feeling stuck. True healing begins when we choose to let go of the old or what no longer serves us. Letting go creates space for peace, growth, and the possibility of a brighter future. In this session, you’ll explore a simple art practice to help you release the old and make peace with the past.
Art Practice: Create Release & Make Peace
Lesson 5
Embracing Uncertainty & Discover Its Quiet Gifts
As humans we are wired to seek what’s certain — to want a glimpse of what lies ahead. But the truth is, life is woven with uncertainty. No matter how tightly we try to hold on to what used to be we find ourselves stuck in the weight of what we cannot control. When we soften into the unknown with openness and grace, we begin to uncover its quiet gifts: wisdom, meaning, and new possibilities.
Art Practice: Watercolor Mingle (One of my well known signature classes)
Lesson 6
Integrating Toward Wholeness
Experiencing change and uncertainty can leave us feeling fragmented and disconnected from our true essence. Part of developing into the person we wish to become requires integrating all aspects of ourselves. Even the difficult experiences. We are grateful for the challenges and struggles. Without them, we wouldn’t be the person we are today. We’re not meant to be perfect — and when we meet our imperfections with compassion instead of criticism, we open the door to healing. This is how we begin to feel more complete, and more hopeful about what lies ahead.

Art Practices
Why is art making part of this program?
When we turn inward with our emotions, thoughts, and experiences, it’s easy to over-identify with them. Art-making creates a safe and supportive space to gently process what we’re carrying — a way to tend to ourselves with care and creativity.
Exploring a variety of art practices can be a powerful tool for navigating change and uncertainty. Our creativity offers moments of solace, stability, and comfort — especially when life feels unpredictable.
It also gives your nervous system the stillness and calm it deeply needs during challenging times.
In this course, you don’t have to have any art experience or need to be an artist. These art practices are simple, accessible, and designed so that anyone — no matter your background — can jump in.
I will guide you step-by-step through a blend of mindfulness practices, breath work and the use of music to help you enter the creative process with ease and openness.
When you allow yourself to be immersed in the creative process, you discover the power that lies within your true creativity.
